[MVHS Central Coast Section Varsity Boys/Girls Finals: Friday-Saturday, February 21-22, 2020].

 

Dear Wrestlers, Parents and Friends of Mt. View Wrestling,

 

I wanted to clarify a few things for this weekend’s Central Coast Section Wrestling Championships.  

 

CCS COMPETITION LOCATION Independence High School

617 N. Jackson Ave.

San José, CA 95133

 

DETAILED COMPETITION SCHEDULE

Friday, February 21, 2020 

6:10am Team meets in the student parking lot at school.

6:15am Team departs in school van and car to Independence H.S.

6:35am The team arrives at Independence and goes into small gym in the back to check weight and get ready for groom check.

7:00am Small gym doors are closed and groom checks begin.

8:00am Weigh ins begin NFHS +2lb: 108lb, 115lb, 122lb.  Drink 16oz of water and eat a small meal slowly.

9:00am Team meets on Mat $6 for warm up and final comments.

10:00am Wrestling begins for boys..

2:15pm Girls arrive and check weight near head table.

3:00pm Girls complete groom check and weigh in.

5:00pm Wrestling begins for girl's and boy's tournament ends. 


Saturday, February 22, 2020

6:10am Team meets in the student parking lot at school.

8:00am Boys weigh ins begin NFHS +3lb: 109lb, 116lb, 123lb.  Drink 16oz of water and eat a small meal slowly.

8:15am Girls weigh ins begin NFHS +3lb: 104lb, 109lb, 114lb.  Drink 16oz of water and eat a small meal slowly.

9:00am Team meets on Mat $6 for warm up and final comments.

10:00am Wrestling begins for boys and girls..

8;30pm MVHS Wrestlers clean up 2 x wrestling mats and score table and chairs after CCS Finals.

 

END OF SEASON WRESTLING BANQUET

CELEBRATE THE SEASON, SHARE SOME STORIES AND LAUGHS AND CONGRATULATE THE SENIORS!

$20/Per person for a catered dinner
